Online research techniques we use:

 

  • Online focus groups – chat

An online analogue of a traditional focus group: 6-8 persons participate in an online conversation simultaneously.

 

Each participant visits the research web-site once in a while to answer the questions whenever convenient (generally once or twice a day). Average duration of the discussion board is 3-5 days. The number of participants may reach 20-30 people.

 

  • Online diaries, blogs, etc. (online ethnography)

In addition to answering the moderator’s questions, the participant may have a personal blog (available to him/her and moderator only) to write down the thoughts and deliver the experience on the research subject.

 

A real-time private conversation with moderator. Comfortable conditions help the respondent to give more explicit and elaborate answers.

 

 

 

Ways we recruit the participants:

 

  • From your client database

 

  • During other research studies (polls and such)

On completing the survey, suitable participants may immediately opt in discussion boards or individual interview section.

 

  • From online access panel

Online panels formed in advance collect the data on the thousands of potential participants including various industries specialists.

 

  • On the relevant websites, blogs and discussion boards

Participants may be recruited using thematic web resources.
